Should i trust travelocity

Pretty sad, spoke with 3 different agents and not one of them had the same information. I prefer Booking. On Oct. I used Travelocity and screenshot every page I went through to the end. I uploaded the app after payment was made.

But not my flight to Vegas. So I paid for a round trip package from Kansas City to Las Vegas, but do not have the flight info to get there, only the departing flight to get home.

This is unacceptable, do NOT use Travelocity. She would not cancel the package after me asking multiple times. Do not use them!! Save yourself the headache and book directly with the airline.. I had 2 flights booked with them that I had to cancel due to the pandemic and the airline will say..

You are much better off booking with the airlines yourself. An emergency occurred a few days before my flight, so I called to sort everything out. I was told by Ernesto that I would have to call the airlines and the insurance policy companies myself. I called again but I was told I would have to wait about an hour and a half, so I went to Twitter to message them in hopes of getting a faster answer.

I did get a quicker answer, but an incomplete answer that has left me out on a flight and out of my money. However, they neglected to say 24 hours before my flight, or in what time zone they were counting that time—so I was SOL. While they extended an apology, that does not make up for an issue that occurred because their employees gave out wrong and incomplete information.

Unprofessional and disappointing. Booked a trip to visit my parents in April when Covid was starting to recede , but to be safe, bought the added-on trip insurance in case Covid staged a comeback. As we know, Covid did make a comeback.

In addition, my father has been in the hospital not Covid, but he's going to be immunocompromised for a bit , so I thought, "Thank goodness I bought the trip insurance. American Airlines is no better, but they're already headed for bankruptcy, so I book a package from them but it gave me an error saying that it was not processed. But when I look on my bank account the funds was taking out but I was not sent an itinerary or confirmation something they require when trying to contact them.

My daughter went on their page and from a long list of complaint of people going through the exact same thing she chose an itinerary that someone posted. I was able to get a live person and was straight up lied to saying that they didn't charge my card.

They will book you and then send you a email stating motel or flight have change. When you call you will be told that you will have to pay more money for the motel or fight tickets and even if it say it fully refundable they will not honor it. The whole process was easy, from plugging in the dates, finding a flight and booking the trip. Thank you. I have used other sites for this purpose and Travelocity was the clearest with all the information and the easiest to use.

I needed to cancel this trip due to covid restrictions and hurricane IDA and the virtual customer service took like 20 minutes to cancel and I never received cancellation confirmation email.

Service was ok, but it was the resolving of my issue with being triple charged, and no one being able to fix it, is my issue. All rights reserved. CST Travelocity offered a great package for part.

What a bunch of crooks. A ponzu scheme. Everything I booked myself, zero issues changing or refunding for next year. Travelocity has stolen our money and wasted 4.

Can safely say do it yourself, save your money and your time. Do not book any a thing with this company. We've had it with this company. We tend to book vacations that costs 5 figures. We understand that is small peanuts compared to what Travelocity makes annually, but for us it is a big deal. For the past two years we've had issues with errors caused by the booking agent that has negatively affected our trips.

They have refused to make things right despite there being recorded evidence of their agents' screwups. This year is the last year this company will make a dime from us.

Travelocity did not notify me of flight change. Big hassel. No full refund. No on takes accountability for error. First day of vacation a total waste.

Got up at 5am only to have our early flight cancelled. Had to wait 7 hours for next flight. Had 20 minutes to make connecting flight and had to run from one end of the Denver airport to the other.

Ended up with shin splints - in pain the rest of my vacation. What a disappointment! Atrocious customer service and complete unwillingness to assist. Covid lockdown resulted in an inability to travel and have been waiting over 6 weeks for my refund. They say they have been unable to contact the hotel, however the hotel dispute and have in fact emailed direct, with me included as a CC. The refund policy states 24 hours for a Covid refund, however this is clearly a blatant falsehood. Used Travelocity only because a friend recommended them to me.

Bought two flights with them. Needed to cancel and hoped to get a voucher. Ended up calling and talking to three separate travel agents over the course of about three months. Here's what happened: Life happens, needed to cancel flights. Called Travelocity agent. Told me I would get vouchers for both flights. A month later, I call Travelocity again, hoping to redeem my vouchers. They tell me first agent was wrong! I don't get vouchers.

After speaking with manager, they decide to give me the vouchers since first travel agent misinformed me, but the voucher would only be for one flight. I decide not to use the voucher at this time and they make notes in my file that I get a voucher!

Call third agent about two months later. She informs me that agents one, two, and their manager were all wrong! And that she can't give me a voucher.

I ask for her manager. She has me on hold for 30 minutes and then tells me her manager will call me back within an hour. Never buy tickets from a 'middle-man' like them. Buy directly from the airlines themselves.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Awful company. Such an awful company. Do not use them! Save yourself the headache and book directly with the airline. I had 2 flights booked with them that I had to cancel due to the pandemic and the airline will say. We are happy to give you a refund, but you have to do it thru Travelocity And then Travelocity says they follow the airlines guidelines but they don't have the capability to process refunds or the airlines had different rules then.

It's complete bs and I've been bounces around with the blame game wasting countless hours and lost hundreds of dollars. My mother and niece went to GS Solaris for 5 days. The family is a member of that resort. As soon as they arrived they were treated so badly and unfairly by Fernando, David and Dave Martinez.

They were very unprofessional to them and rude. The food was horrible and so was the staff. They were suppose to go to the gala diner but they refuse to let them in for no reason.

But another guy came and didn't have reservations and they got him in. We booked a room for the weekend and we were cancelled the night before due to hurricane by the hotel but since it was after the cancellation hour we were denied a refund. We in no way wanted to cancel our reservation but the hotel was closed and yet Travelocity still kept our payment. Will never book with them again! I will be challenging this. I should have used TripAdvisor - I have used them often in the past without issue.

Stay away from Travelocity! They dont say anywhere on the site that the will take 30 days to get you a refund Funny how they can pull the money out in seconds, but can't give you a refund for weeks. They are pulling a scam, take your money for something you cant even get, then make you wait 30 days to get your monry back Horrible communications are going to leave me stranded in Minneapolis tomorrow night, due to flight changes meaning a late arrival that were never sent to me by Travelocity or United.

Changes were made in late Sept, but I was never notified. Checked my spam, deleted and inbox folders, no one ever notified me. Lost 3 hours today on hold and trying to get in earlier so I could get home, since there's no transportation an hour out where I live.

Thanks, I'll end up sitting the airport until Monday morning. I've booked through Travelocity for business and leisure for awhile, but I'll never do this again. And the rebooked flights stripped the First Class I paid for, until I lost an hour getting that back. As a disabled veteran, thanks for such poor service. Go ahead and remove this, I'm posting on a lot of travel sites tonight.
