The waitress who served us was excellent and there was a man who also smiled at us every time he caught our eye! My husband had a starter of ribs and got two meaty ribs that had lots of sauce on and he was also given a finger bowl with lemon in to clean his fingers - that's unusual nowadays and was much appreciated! I had the vegetable tempura for starters and it was gorgeous. I had courgetter, red and green peppers and carrot - served with a quite strong sweet chilli dip. I also had a glass of water which was served in a bottle, but I wasn't charged for this and we had a little dish of ice cubes left on the table with serving tongs to pick up the ice with - another lovely touch.

For our main course my husband chose the twice cooked pork in a szechuan sauce with plain boiled rice and he really enjoyed this.

It had quite a few stir fried vegetables in with the dish too. I had the duck in spring onion and ginger sauce with egg fried rice and it was really good - the sauce was so delicious, never had anything so good and tasty like this before!

Exceptionally good cooking here! The portion sizes were very big and really filled us up. The toilets are downstairs and were very clean. Next time we're in Hove we will definitely be coming back here again and would really recommend this place to anyone who wants Chinese food that is cooked by an exceptionally good chef. There seemed to be some slight confusion over 3 vegan meals being ordered,hence on arrival 3 had to be returned to the kitchen I must say it was dealt with in a most helpful and very apologetic manner Well done Own or manage this property?
